Thanks everyone for commenting. The snow storm that coated the mountain several days ago is melting fast. Much of the trail I hiked is bare but some still remains. It looks more like a spring thaw.

Guys, I don't know how much snow it should be on this "Rock" at this time but it's amazing, clear view of the tallest peak on mainland.
Nice shot, Ivan and congrats on AC!

Congratulations on the AC! Like the other comments, I've never seen any rock on Mt Rainier before, so enjoy this fresh perspective.

Ivan it seems alien to see "my" mountain with such a litle bit of snow on it, I have always seen it very white and snow covered at any time of the year.

About kippic

I started taking pictures at a very early age; can't even remember when I got my first small camera. I enjoyed having a dark room during the age of film. Now I use the "light room" (computer) and enjoy taking pictures even more.Living in the Pacific Northwest provides a great opportunity for subjects for photos.
