I used to live in San Dimas, and figured we would have been hammered. Glad I missed it.

We've had the winds up here in Ridgecrest, but were lucky not to have had the extent of damage I have seen on the news. My daughter goes to Azusa Pacific University & they had several tree's uprooted on campus.

I guess we were lucky here in Santa Ana / Costa Mesa area of Orange County. We had calm winds until thursday evening. Feel sorry for the home owner!

Heard that those Santa Ana winds were coming around from the north in an unusual pattern - looks like you've had some nasty results from them. Hope all stay well and out of harm's way. Thanks for posting!

This is the aftermath of the wind storm that hit the foothill cities of the San Gabriel Valley northeast of Los Angeles Calif. Most of the cities did not escape some damage as you can see. Others had extensive damage mainly due to down trees and power poles. Currently the winds in this area are subsiding tonight but we are still "seeing" power "flickers" as perhaps others are losing their power due to the wind.
