I sure don't Kat, and many of our mountains don't have a name. Two in this small range, I know their names. But most are nameless.

Here, on unnamed mountains, we can petition to name them ourselves, officially. Pretty cool, huh? I know a few mountains in the area that were named for family loved ones.

These guys look like they have more snow on them
than the big one in your first picture. All of
your mountains are so gorgeous. Do yu know all
their names? I am determined to learn more of
the mountain names here..but there are so many!
Beautiful shot, Katy!

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
