Caption: Snowing pretty heavily tonight. I couldn't tell if there were good shapes with just my eyes, but I thought I'd take a chance. Pitch dark out there, so I used a macro light ring, and this is what I found.

Thank you very much friends, and thank you approvers! Makes the icy fingers so worth it, to have these warm comments!

The flakes were very tiny last night, and very few dendrites like this. This one could sit on the head of a pin with room to spare.

This is not a B&W photo, I have never done B&W. The world is so full of natural color, my personal view is I don't want to take anything away from that beauty. This photo was taken in the black of night... I may need to get advice from Larry, Kevin, Debbie and the snowflake-masters, on how to get color in snowflake shots.
