Moonlight & Aurora

Uploaded by: katy99780

Tok, AK (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I had no idea there were any auroral lights last evening. I stepped out in the -48 degree night to look at the snow bathed in moonlight. I didn't realize the 'haze' which I thought was wispy cloud was actually aurora. Definitely washed out by bright moonlight.

Thank you Becky, Tishu, Julia, Arlene and Larry.

Yes Tishu that's my tree, just at the edge of the back yard.

Sure 'nuff Larry, I got my comeuppance! I like it though, it's another 'weather adventure' and to my liking!

Very cool photo and you are brave to go out and get it! Minus 48 huh? Weren't you the one who was complaining a couple weeks ago that it wasn't cold enough for this time of year?
