Thanks Dave and Peter, heheh Peter I wasn't driving... though I have been known to prop the camera on the dash (with kid's modelling clay) and snap away.... gotta love these places with no traffic.

I love this Katy, you get to drive through such grand scenery. There is something in a work of art hard worked for, guess you were driving with your feet for this one ;-)

Thanks friends! You sure give incentive to learning!

I took a lot of shots that were too too dark, some had half of the ceiling of the truck... some had focus on a spot on the windshield... Haha!

I had the camera in large RAW, to experiment with something capable of more detail. Now... just hold the camera still... :D

KATY---as always, you bring us the beauty of the North. So pretty, and via the window of a semi---fantastic. Keep sharing them with us. 10 + for sure.

Another great scenic from the far North! You do better through the windshield than I do through our van. The curve in the glass distorts. When I first got my camera and was trying to get pictures of birds on the road, they were all blurry and I was disappointed in the camera. Was relieved when we discovered it was the window, not the camera. LOL Congrats and 10 from way south of you.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
