Oh I wonder!

Only drawback to the weather rock system is it requires I add 'accessories' to the camera bag, even upgrade the camera from time to time... did I say drawback? What was I thinking! no drawbacks!

Very accurate Weather device, reliable, and it's owner knows how to put it on-line! Bet it detects Low Humidity as well as High. The simple things are sometimes the best. Hmm, wonder if it's a Space Rock?

Thanks for stopping by ktsmom9 and Duane.

Weather rock is tried and true, completely maintenance-free, requires no software updates. But alas, when it gets too much snow on it, it no longer sends visual signals...

Internet connection is completely dependent on integral camera, and that does require upgrades from time to time.

I'm SO glad I live in the Mid-Atlantic region. We're still wearing shorts and tank tops here. Ahhhh....

Wow, Arlene is right, it looks just like
something I saw in the butcher's case the
other day, and gee, it's already flash frozen.

Good weather series, Katy.

Too funny...and heck, so much for your fall season, unless fall means falling snow!

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
