I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System). Caption: I didn't know until I saw the gif that the slow moving clouds were going east to west, a pretty unusual pattern for us. Must be low pressure moving in from the coast. Warmer temps and just a few flakes of snow.
