Tok, AK (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: See how the trees are laying over in the wind? Leaves are all down at our house, but still hanging on out at the pond. Must be because they had better moisture around the pond.

I quite like the breezy winds of autumn, not warm like the summer winds & not biting as winter winds can be. They have that a slight chill to them but it's more of a wake you up than a 'crikey i want to go back to bed' winter wind! :-) Wonderful shot.

Oh, yes, you can see how windy it is, and with
all that snow behind it, you can almost feel it,
too! Good thing you unpacked some of your winter
clothes! Brrrrr! But it is so beautiful, too!
Great shot, Katy! Stay warm!

About katy99780

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
