Caption: Thinking this is the correct variety after checking out many online identifying photos. When I climbed down the rocky outcropping on Mt Scott again, he was within a couple inches of where I placed my hand to brace myself. Friendly guy; at least, he didn't attempt to scurry off or bite me!
