Sounds like you might have missed the tubs and slides. Natural tubs that are swimmable and extremly cold, even this time of year, but beautiful as they fold one into another, quiet gentle bays of solitude. Many years of letting it go and enjoying the moment. Perhaps you will pass that way again and pick the wild blackberries upon the road up from porterville. If you search my pics you will find past years pickings. loving life

Wow...come sit by a quiet spot on Green Bay in a full moon. I think you may have lived it all if you do along with that scenario! Wow! Just loved those mountains and trees!

My favorite would be the goose pen redwood. 2:00 in the morning, laying down inside and looking up through the heart of the tree and seeing stars streak and clouds dance. The symphony of owls as they call throughout the canopy and the echoes of all. Sigh, did not make the trip this summer, because of work, but my heart was there. Moments and memories, glad you got some

One of my favorite midnight hikes. No lights, just the night and the giants. Quite awesome, better yet is the road where you lay down in the middle of it and count shooting stars. Magical. Like
