Thanks WeatherWise and noneinc...we were trying to figure out why it was sitting in plain sight in the middle of the day in town. We do have a lot of snow piled up, over 20 inches, so I don't know if they are having troubling finding food...I don't know a lot about owls.

My name is Jen and I'm a pediatric home health nurse---which is my first passion. I've lived in Northern Minnesota for three years, and have fallen in love with this beautiful place! My kids are entering adulthood and for the first time in years, I have some time for...(gasp)...a hobby. My son gifted me with a camera (and ongoing photography lessons!)this last year and I have been having a blast. I love this site! Wonderful people, amazing pictures from all over and lots of encouragement to keep learning and improving!
