Caption: I've been wanting to try this since I saw a picture of a broken frozen bubble last year. Today's wind chill temps of -4F made it perfect for my attempt.

BettyFrance, check out this website about frozen bubbles: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-frozen -soap-bubbles-198735
I just found it and it has a recipe for bubble mix that might help. There are also some beautiful photos, interesting links embedded in the article and at the bottom of the page.

I have been blowing bubbles all day, and part of yesterday, and they just do NOT freeze. They did freeze beautifully for me a few years ago, this year totally they will not.  It is always below zero when I do it, too.  There is a small wind blowing, that carries the bubbles away and they pop too soon maybe.   Working on it.

Thank you all so much! This was so fun to do! It was also more of a challenge than I anticipated as I had to blow the bubbles then grab the camera for the shot. I think the swirly patterns in the bubbles surprised me the most!
