Thanks, everyone, for the great comments, and thank you, approvers.

Kristine - all the ice is from various containers distributed around my yard, along with groupings of colorful stuff, and all the shots taken right there.

In my caption I mentioned the challenge. The reality is that in the past two weeks I've taken around 5000 ice shots. Half are junk, half the rest are 'almost' okay, half the rest poorly composed, half the rest just strangely boring, and 2/3 of the rest duplicates/similars, leaving maybe 2 out of 100 that I consider posting. Pretty low success rate, but that's what it seems to take.
