Pocasset, MA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: A thicket of rows of crystal blades that 'grew' down into the freezing water as much as three inches, some parallel, others crisscrossing at all different angles. I'd been looking for this all winter, having found and dropped a similar piece in November, so the first day of spring seemed fitti. Although I marvel at the phenomenon, I find that from any angle most of the crystals are transparent - only a few are reflective. I can only effectively photograph little parts of the scene.

About isight

isight

Living on Cape Cod in this beautiful spot, trying to notice what the days have to offer, playing along with life as it unfolds, celebrating the wonder of it all. Learning from and being inspired by all the marvelous images and myriad visions expressed; having great fun with comments, titles and captions. And although my vision has blurred, my 'vision' - what I notice that I try to convey - is clearer. This enthusiastic, supportive community is quite exceptional.
