I felt bad for the farmer who taps all these
maple trees for syrup, all the tubing and barrels
were ripped off the trees by the ice. I suppose
all that water and silt will replenish the soil
as well. The Berner looks nice but can be handful
when young 2-3 years and they are rather socially
needy as they were breed to stick to the farmer
like glue, and they do as he does. Still would
not be without one either, just not the dog
for everyone. Thanks.

Souhegan River Milford NH last Sunday.
Never saw ice dams that large in the past 10 years.
