Thank you for your comment Jack. However, I would also like to thank YOU for your service to this country. Although you were just a peace time Army vet, you were still ready to stand tall in the face of danger when needed. So, thank you for your service and for protecting the freedom that I (and all of us) enjoy.

Thank you for serving on the front line.
This is from a peace time Army vet who served in the 1959-1962 era.

About hq236

I got into photography after I was shot in the line of duty as a police officer back in 2007 and forced out of uniform. I continue to serve, but as a plain clothes detective. Even after 6 years, I continue to undergo numerous surgeries to correct the damage done from the shooting (14 so far). I have also enjoyed the field of astronomy since I was a child. Now with my passion for photography, I am delving into the world of astrophotography. My life's philosophy is very simple...when in a life or death situation, as long as you're breathing you're good and never give up the fight. Also, God and family come first. There is nothing more important that that.Create your own visitor map!Create your own visitor map!img src="http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticke r/sunandmoon150/language/www/US/LA/Lafayette.gif" border=0alt="Click for Lafayette, Louisiana Forecast" height=50 width=150>img src="http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticke r/miniDial/language/www/US/LA/Lafayette.gif" border=0alt="Click for Lafayette, Louisiana Forecast" height=50 width=150>
