Caption: Finally some snow after a couple of weeks of cold and clear. The wind is blowing so hard that I won't need to sweep off my plane though.

Thanks for all your comments. Yes it is a Cessna 140. Palmer has furious winds, 50 mph today, so I use extra tough tiedowns just to be sure the plane is still there every day!

Great airplane patch scene.
My guess on the plane is Cessna 120/140 (Rag-Wing) w/tie down ropes heavy enough for a Gooney Bird.

I always but on a sweater before I enjoy your pictures at this time of the year. Is that a Luscombe in the foreground. If you do not fly no tail-dragger, you ain't no real pilot.
