Weatherwise if you look at my previous pics of this little guy he was green. Not sure if they change with the plants, Now I have a little green one in some other flowers. Hope they stay

Neat shot! I think sometimes they are even
brown when they hatch or evolve from cocoon.
At least, the one time I had a cocoon that
a child brought in on my desk. One day, I
came to work and there were these little
brown praying mantis all over the classroom.
At the time I did not know what I had and
was afraid I was in big trouble! Great capture!
