This year I have seen several Quail around my normal area I check on. Never seen them before. I have seen some closer to home within a mile or so. Don't know why this year there seems to be a bunch.
This is the first time I have seen the baby chicks. In fact the other ones I have seen all have that long curly thing sticking up above their head. Maybe that is the Males, as I saw a couple of those here with these ones also, but vanished into the sagebrush before I could point my camera at them.
