Shirley, I was less than 1 mile west of my house, looking NE direction. The top of that mountain is right at 5 miles away. The very top is not visible from this photo. Top is to the left of the photo. You can see the slope on the left leading to the top which is around 11,000 ft. Can't remember the exact number, but it's pretty close there.
