Thank you very much polymorph, for your comment. Yes, I know a couple years ago I followed one & stopped where it stopped, if I had a spot to pull off the pavement, and wound up getting close to Embudo. That started in the area where these photos were taken.

What an amazing series! I've been wondering how far the eagles range over a day. I've seen some around Embudo and finally caught a couple photos on Monday, but not nearly as spectacular. I suppose it is possible we've seen the same eagle.
