Thanks for sharing your memory. It is interesting how pictures can bring back memories... unfortunately not memories are good... You made me remember how everyone's floors were squared linoleum.

Nice nature capture!!!...when I was 5, I had a very vivid dream that our kitchen floor was full of black holes, and I couldn't get to my Mom at the sink, for fear of falling into a hole...I've since realized, that was the time my Pop laid down a black and white squared linoleum floor, remember the 1950's, and I was scolded for touching the hot stove...funny how the brain interprets emotional reactions...!

About gatyamgal

gatyamgal

I am a housewife and live in Bettendorf, Iowa. I have always been interested in nature pictures. My dad did not share my interest. "It's not a picture without people in it!" I think there is room in the world for both kinds. I started here with an exilim pocket camera. I upgraded to an Olympus in the Summer of 2012. In January of 2013 I got a Samsung smart camera. Really nice! I like taking pictures along the shore of the Mississippi River which is just 10 blocks away from my house. I love looking at other people's pictures also.
