Thanks so much, Mark & Wilma!! The flowers in the series are early blooming dwarf Irises, our big ones also have a while to go... =)

Yeah, this is really pretty, James! Can't wait to see iris for myself - but they are more like mid May to June flowers here.

About gardner48197

gardner48197

10/2014: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
