Ypsilanti, MI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: We lost power for almost 24 hours, what a day it has been! Rain turned to freezing rain, then sleet, then heavy snow! Amazing how we take electricity (and heat) for granted...

Very good weather shot, James.

Glad your power is back. We have had
similar situations several times out
here in the wild west, but we don't
worry about heat or lights...coleman
lamps and a wood stove. Sit down,
relax and play cribbage.

Congratulations on your 400th AC award.

About gardner48197

gardner48197

7/2014: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
