Ypsilanti, MI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Little did I know, we would lose power for almost 24 hours, shortly after I got back from this stormy evening photo shoot! Rain turned to freezing rain, then sleet, then heavy snow! Amazing how we take electricity (and heat) for granted...

My sympathy - went thru that in 2009 with a major ice storm here in KY - no heat/power x 3 days (temps dropped to single digits after the storm came through). Beautiful picture though

Very beautiful wintry scene. Sorry to hear about your 24-hour loss of power/heat. Hope you had some warm clothes to keep out the cold.
