Another incredibly eloquent shot, Tim! Excellent detail and composition. So very beautiful in it's evocative way. We have not had the precip amounts you've received, but we also have not had the dirt storms, at least until this Saturday, when the wind blew 60mph and you could hardly see the sky on the way to Amarillo and back! So we finally got a little taste of what you've been experiencing. This is an AWESOME image! 10!

An absolutely perfect picture. It is sad that it looks like a black and white but is in fact in color as evidenced (for me) by the pale green plants.

About docshovel39

docshovel39

Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . His black and white shots ( nashvilleportraits.com) are amazing . Thank you for your comments and have a GREAT day !
