Caption: Thick fog this morning made the drive to work a little uncomfortable . Taking pictures , on the other hand , wasn't too bad . I didn't dent any fenders taking pictures :)

A GREAT image, Tim! Beautiful composition and color! Wonderful weather capture and small town America shot! That's about the same population as Keyes! Or at least we used to be that "big!" :) We may be even smaller now. I LOVE your titles! 10!

Great shot. Sure wish we could see something like this in our dry Desert.

It's fun living in a small town - grew up in one of 800. I graduated in the top 10 in my class (good thing there wasn't 11 in it)

Love this and that fog Tim. I live in a smaller
town, pop of about 235, but more in the nearby towns.

Nice foggy scene...we've had a bunch of it lately.
(Guess I live in a big town compared to Ropesville!)

Population 434? Wow, guess it isn't too hard to get a clear shot without vehicles or folks wandering into the frame! Well done! Would love to live in as small a town, too!

About docshovel39

Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . His black and white shots ( nashvilleportraits.com) are amazing . Thank you for your comments and have a GREAT day !
