Looks like a photo out of the book, The Worst Hard Times. Harsh and gloomy shot, realistic.

Another VERY evocative and FANTASTIC image of the Plains, Tim! Great definition and depth! It speaks volumes to me of the Pioneer Spirit, in the most beautiful and powerful way! 10!

About docshovel39

docshovel39

Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . His black and white shots ( nashvilleportraits.com) are amazing . Thank you for your comments and have a GREAT day !
