Thank you and yes you are right, the larger ones are scary. A beach volunteer that helps protect the wildlife said the smaller ones are actually more unpredictable so I learned a true respect for them as well. I have hundreds of fantastic shots of this little cutie, she seemed to really be into the photo shoot!

What a fantastic shot. I love the way it seems to be looking at the camera. At that size, I think I can happily call it cute... many not so once it grows!
Enjoy your vacation. :-)

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
