All that rain you've been having has now arrived in MY neck of the woods, Leslie! Rain predicted all the rest of this week, and pouring now, a little snow mixed in. Can't get anything done outside at all. At least you got a nice sunset; we didn't even get that last night during a break in the clouds -- it's either solid clouds or no clouds at all. But you always seem to be able to take advantage of whatever comes your way! Congrats on the blue for a pretty sunset!

Thank you all very much and thank you volunteer Approvers!!!
The rain has stopped this morning so that is good news. We needed it, just not all at once. Hopefully, that will clear up all the drought table talk for quite some time in Alabama. I appreciate all your nice comments on my photography!!

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
