Thank you wu friends. It was nice to have this pretty lady in the garden. We have seen a lot of them this winter which I thought was surprising until some friends enlightened me. Obviously they are everywhere :)

Beautiful colors, like that the lighting is nice to not cause a glare on the shell. My usual problem when trying for a shot with them Nice

Neat shot. Love the sharpness of your ladybug against the soft background--and the contrast between that hot orange and cool green.

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
