Buck Fight

Uploaded by: dixiedaughter

Saturday November 24, 2012

Townsend, TN (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Just after sunrise two bucks started fighting. This is a scene shot but we were able to get about 50 amazingly close shots. They did not pay us any attention and were only interested in fighting each other. It was so cool to hear their racks clanking and witness their behavior.

Wow, Leslie! What a shot! How cool to catch them
in the act! This shot would have been fantastic
if there was one of them just standing under that
gorgeous tree, but with the added action between
two of them, it is really awesome!

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
