Thank you Betsy, I thought she looked like a real beauty.
We didn't get Sandy in Alabama but we are praying that all in the storms path are safe. Be careful out there everyone on the East Coast!

Delightful and appropriate title, Leslie! She is a young beauty. Nice capture.
I hope you & your property are OK after Sandy. We are waiting. I cleared all the stuff off the basement floor this morning (fortunately I am not a pack-rat), just in case we lose electricity to our sump pump.
Have a good November & December -

About dixiedaughter

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
