I think I would be a tad afraid that the bear might regard me as a treat better than an acorn.

Excellent capture! Just make sure you don't get too close as she may be looking for her cubs.

Thanks for the votes and comments. Thankfully mom wasn't interested in me much at all. She allowed me to have the thrill of a lifetime!

About dixiedaughter
dixiedaughter Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2013 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
