It's changed a lot since back in February, Tensie, but we still have a lot of snow on the ground. It IS finally melting, and I saw a wild berry in an area of our yard where the snow has disappeared! That was very exciting considering we had our first snow way back on Nov. 26, 2013. I think in a week or so we'll see most of the snow fading away. :) I am on facebook if you'd like to chat privately, and I can then give you my home email address. Have a great evening!!!

Thanks for the nice comments. We have had a very harsh winter, but to live in Maine, and enjoy it, you have to be strong and hearty.....and most Mainers are.

I wish Drzl would wear the booties, but it would take ten strong men to get them on her, and she would have them off in five seconds! She's definitely not a clothes loving dog. LOL We keep her in except when the sun in shining brightly, then my hubby takes her for a walk through the paths in our woods for about one half an hour. We play with her a lot in the cottage. She loves to tug and chase her toys when we throw them. Still, after this long winter we will all be happy to see the snow melt. :)

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
