Penobscot, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: He comes out of his nest in a tall tree in the woods next to our home each morning. Vincent loves sunflower seeds, and he knows they will be there in the yard. He has a certain mound where he likes to be fed. I thought he looked especially charming and cute in this shot....and wow, has he put on the pounds!

Are you sure Vincent is not a female? :) We had a nursing mommy squirrel. I figure she has 3. 2 boys and a girl (or that is how I perceive it) :o)
I miss you. Changed my email address.

I know Vincent and Jeffy because they always go to a certain spot to forage and feed, and they do develop their own personalities. Hope that helps, Tensie!! :)

His fat is keeping him warm. You have had such a winter this year!
How do you tell them apart? All our squirrels look the same.. I wish I could name them. :-)

About deepwoods

deepwoods

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
