Fort Walton Beach, FL (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Some nice waves as prelude to "Hurricane Karen" in Ft. Walton Beach under the Pier. Karen fizzled out this afternoon. The beach was packed and surfers were aplenty.

Thanks, Peg and NewEng. A wave came up and sloshed me while I was taking this and I did my best to stay upright and save the Canon!
Double Red flags were flying.

Hi Y'All! Thank you for taking a look at my photos here. This is all pretty new to me, since right before Christmas 2007. I was told about this site by MaryEstherFLA, whom I met at Liza Jackson Park taking photos one evening. Hopefully I will learn how to make one of those maps that shows location of people who view my photos. I think they are pretty neat! I work in the meat department in Sam's Club in Fort Walton Beach. I am "The Chicken Lady" who prepares and cooks those wonderful rotisserie chickens for you every day!
