Coyote at the Park!

Reno, NV (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The park rangers have told me there are coyotes that live on the 550 acres of the parks grounds and I have seen several over the Summer but they are always running away or in a wooded area. This was the first time I saw one in the open, it was around the abandoned water slide area. It disappeared quickly right after I took several shots.

Nice wildlife capture, Donna!

On a couple of occasions, we have had coyotes
come through our pasture during the day. I
think this is unusual for their habits. We
usually hear them at night while bedding down
our livestock.

Glad your were able to get your shot.

Congratulations on your AC.

Amazing shot. They are usually running away as soon as you see them. He/she must have liked you and wanted to pose!

Very great catch. They are one of the hardest to catch in a pose. The only ones I have had a rare glimpse of didn't take any time to pose. 10 from SW Iowa
