Cold but beautiful… be careful with that ice! Our snow & ice are slowly melting at least today.

We are to have a little break in the cold in a couple of days Arlene; then it is(so they say) back into the deep freeze!

It is hard to believe (from the depth of snow in our yard) that it is not officially winter yet Arlene. We don't usually have as much before sometime in January!

We didn't get quite this much Arlene; I measured aproximately 6 inches of new snow in our yard.

The nights are getting cooler Arlene, and I've spotted geese heading south, plus the central arctic islands are snow covered now! Perhaps we'll see white sooner than we think!

Lot of snow Arlene! We tend to get ours in little dribs and drabs, as they say in Scotland.

Thank you Larisa and Peg. Sunny now and milder and I am hoping it will get rid of the ice on roads and sidewalks before the sun goes back into the clouds.

Thanks so much for your kind comments and the VIP and AC. I also hope a lot goes and especially the ice underlayer, which causes so many falls and accidents.
