Love this beautiful photo - the pretty skies
over the old rustic homeplace and like Briar
pointed out the flowers all around still
giving MUCH life to this place. Also, it is
more special after reading your travel blog!
Great photo! Congratulations on AC!

Wow! What a wonderful find. Great composition. Wonder how many kids climbed that tree, and how many fell off. I can just see them picking themselves up crying. The good ol' days!
Congratulations on this great AC!

Congrats on the AC.

I don't know what it is but abandoned, tumbled down houses and barns just strike a cord with me.

Maybe it's because they make me wonder about their history, who lived there, what their lives were like and why they left.

I do love the symbolism of the new spring flowers around the dead tree, broken fence, and abandoned house full of memories and dreams. And the cycle of birth-growth-death-decay continues.
