Yesterday (8/28) was warm and quiet with a hazy smokey sky as the Idaho fire plume spread NE from the Stanley Idaho area blazes. Terrie and I boarded the old style 1936 car with an open canvas roof and cruised through a wonderland of new hemlock and old cypress forests. Vistas with huge visual impact. Insightful historical monologue the driver Nigel 'spun' to perfection. These photo's are just a glimpse of the evenings ambiance. We started at Apgar Village. Do the trip whenever you can.

About boydski

Hi!Winter months are in the Anzo Borrego desert where golf and hiking are priorities. When the temp gets above the 105 mark I start to move north in my RV to camp and hike the Oregon Coast and points North. I've always loved weather and photography so I'm excited to share my photo adventures. I'll look forward to posting some special pictures.Boydski
