Very good shot! Congrats on AC!
Out of my 20 year ARMY career, 9 years were tours at Ft Lewis. My favorite. I told my son, how his late Mother and I dreamed of retiring there one day. We both being from Alabama; well my dear wife had never been over 100 miles from her home until we married. She feared flying very much, so when we married (our home town in Bama), I drove back to Washington as our honeymoon. We lived outside Seattle, then Tacoma and Olympia was our last tour. I have mad e many flights over the Cascades, through the Pass into Yakima Valley, Military Proving Grounds. If it's God's will I shall move back one day. Thanks so much for posting these great shots and bringing such wonderful memories bubbling in my heart.

The excellent images submitted by all the other photographers on Wunderground humbles me! Very helpful friendly people! I first stumbled upon Wunderground a few years ago while searching for weather information. Now it is my go to source for weather information everywhere. The weather, astronomy data and the wonderful photography community is invaluable! About me: I like to take images. Clouds, landscapes, flowers, architecture, portraits are my favorite subjects. I'll shoot pretty much anything that might be interesting. Often it's the shots that I didn't put a lot of thought and effort into that surprise me!
