Martin, ND (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: It was cold and windy with some blowing snow and maybe a little ice fog to add to the sundog effects. It was hard to keep my phone still in the wind!

Thanks Heidrun, Barefoot and Sharon! I can now say that this is the longest period of time that it ever took any of my photos to become an AC!!

Well, if you'd have put sunrise on it, you might have got a AC. lol I like this photo because it pleases the eye and because a below zero sundog has to be one of the rarest weather moments - and you caught it on film. Well, on whatever. Thanks.

Thanks! I really appreciate everyone's votes and comments! I do believe of all the photos I've uploaded this one has been the highest rated photo that has not become an AC!

Thanks Eileen, Katy and Charlotte!
Katy, I think we have a little bit of your weather down our way. As always, it's the wind that makes it feel the worst.

About bbend

bbend

From the small town of Martin, which is located in central North Dakota. I keep busy with commercial painting, grow small fruits and vegetables for sale, am the city assessor for Martin and I'm the new American Family Insurance agent in Harvey. Lots of stuff to learn in my new endeavor! One of my hobbies is taking pictures, which hopefully will dispel some misguided ideas that ND is a boring, flat, and always cold and snowy state!
