Martin, ND (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Finally the ice is receding and there are some reflections! It was a clear evening and the smoke, from fires that farmers have set to burn CRP fields to get them ready to plant again, is the only thing in the sky.

Unfortunately your photos, though quite good, give the impression that North Dakota is cold, flat, and frozen.

Never so affected by the browns, so many days with the copper highlights, brings such a sweet gentle beauty to the face of the horizon, such little dazzling moments of sparkle as the sun highlights the reds

About bbend

From the small town of Martin, which is located in central North Dakota. I keep busy with commercial painting, grow small fruits and vegetables for sale, am the city assessor for Martin and I'm the new American Family Insurance agent in Harvey. Lots of stuff to learn in my new endeavor! One of my hobbies is taking pictures, which hopefully will dispel some misguided ideas that ND is a boring, flat, and always cold and snowy state!
