From the small town of Martin, which is located in central North Dakota. I keep busy with commercial painting, grow small fruits and vegetables for sale, am the city assessor for Martin and I'm the new American Family Insurance agent in Harvey. Lots of stuff to learn in my new endeavor! One of my hobbies is taking pictures, which hopefully will dispel some misguided ideas that ND is a boring, flat, and always cold and snowy state!

Caption: This was not the most stunning sunset I've ever taken but it was the only one I've taken that had this band of color along the whole southern horizon. The sun is going down much further to the southwest than in the summer, of course but this was straight south from me and the color continued over to the southeast. In the distance you can see some smoke from more CRP fields being burned and readied for planting, next year.
