Thanks for all your comments and feedback. I am glad I was able to share that day, and delighted that they were able to bring back some good memories. Fords Terror Wilderness is the fjord system just to the south of Tracy Arm Fjord.

Especially meaningful to me! I have a similar series from Tracy Arm, several years ago, which were lost. That time, a HUGE glacial cave with overhanging arch fell in front of our eyes, & I got it all on film. And the negatives are long gone. The old Nikon f4 now replaced with digital, of course, but what a workhorse it was.

Thank you for these wonderful images.

Another bender I see. I really love the shading in this ice, and it really shows how massive those ice bergs are. Neat shot. Arlene B

Amazing series of photos. I especially like this one it looks like a sail unfurling while emerging from under the sea.

I also like that your images prompted me to find out more about glaciers and "shooters." It is good to expand one's knowledge. Thank you.

I'm pleased you enjoyed them. It is hard to do justice to the natural beauty of Alaska but I hope I can share a little piece of it. Thank you approvers for the blue border!
