Steve I think we'll be dashing down that way in the car, we have some shrimp waiting for us, a local fisherman. Can't make a 'paying trip' out of it, but can't stop thinking about those shrimp... so we may be looking at the eagles soon.

Yeah I know just the spot(s) to pull over! The car will be much easier than the semi!

Thanks for your kind words - I'm glad I could share. Katy, the best viewing spot is 21 miles out from Haines where the road runs along the river, and well worth spending an extra day if you're there before mid-December.
