Thanks Gene. Thanks Cruiser. Watch those needle-like teeth while you're kissing that pointy little nose!

Awww!!! I could kiss his little pointy face!!!

I saw one eating the catfood up on the patio last week. Gave me this stare while *still* stuffing his face (just like raccoons do), and by the time I came back with my camera, he was gone.

A few days later, I see the critter (same, or one of his bredren/sistren) scampering right by the door, as the jalousie windows go right down to maybe 8" from the ground. He might've been looking in then took off when he saw me, or eyeballing one of the cats, don't recall, as I only saw him when he was on his way out.

What a brazen thief! Possums are very adroit and get into mischief easily. They like taking the covers off of my neighbors sprinkler's controls.

This is an excellent shot.

About backwardguy

backwardguy

My wife of 40 years and I live in Hermiston OR. on a 5 acre "farmette". I have been an elementary school teacher for the last 26 years. I enjoy the outdoors and animals and I'm an avid (not a good) golfer. My wife and I take our motorcycles on long trips and our destinations are almost always the beautiful National parks in Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, and last summer we added Arizona to the list. Photography has long been an interest of mine and many of my photos are taken on our little farmette, and on our motorcycle trips.
