Don't know why, but these little birds out on our wild acreage are so aggressive that you would sware they were pets! If I went out more often I think they would come set on my head. Since I only get out there rarely, they only dare come to the feeder if I stand a few feet away. Would like to think it's me they like, but probably they are just hungry. A nice portrait shot. 10 from SW Iowa

About backwardguy

backwardguy

My wife of 41 years and I live in Hermiston OR. on a 5 acre "farmette". I have been an elementary school teacher for the last 29years. I enjoy the outdoors and animals and I'm an avid (not a good) golfer. My wife and I take our motorcycles on long trips and our destinations are almost always the beautiful National parks in Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, and last summer we added Arizona to the list. Photography has long been an interest of mine and many of my photos are taken on our little farmette, and on our motorcycle trips.
